The Liturgy Committee helps coordinate the liturgical ministries of the parish: music ministry, lectors, extraordinary ministers of communion, servers, greeters, sacristans, as well as the art and environment of our worship space.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are laity who assist the clergy in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass, as well as to those who are home-bound or sick.

Serving at Mass and other liturgies is an important role because the server is assisting not just the priest but the whole worshipping community. Altar servers are called to be aware of their role and their responsibility in performing it well.
Children can begin serving in the fourth grade. A letter is sent home to all parish school and PSR students explaining the ministry and training. Contact Alisa Arthur for more information. Email Alisa

Lectors are readers, who proclaim the Word of God and the General Intercessions at Mass and special liturgies. All new lectors will have a training session prior to being assigned.

Greeters welcome parishioners and visitors to St. Patrick before Mass. These are the first faces our parishioners and visitors see when they enter the church for Mass.

We hope to provide a welcoming, joyful entrance to our church through greeters who reach out to open doors and say, "Hello!" to all who enter.

Sacred Music is a vital component of the Holy Mass.

Our parish have various choral groups who sing at Sunday and Holy Day liturgies throughout the year.

Families in our parish are invited to volunteer as Offertory Families, who present gifts at the altar during Mass.

A small crucifix will be on the gifts table near the bread and wine before Mass.  When you enter the church for Mass, if your group of two or more people would like to volunteer to bring up the gifts, take the crucifix to the pew with you.  After the intercessions (petitions/prayers of the faithful), bring the crucifix to the back of the church and place it back on the table.  Wait there until the collection is completed to bring the gifts to the altar.  The ushers will be there to help.

Eucharistic Adoration is available on Wednesdays from  2:00 - 7:45 p.m. in the chapel and on the first Friday of each month from 9:00 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. Benediction is held at 7:45 p.m.

Volunteers are always needed to spend at least one hour weekly or monthly with Our Lord.

Volunteers visit or call homebound or parishioners or those living in nursing homes or other care facilities.  Trained Eucharistic Ministers can take the Eucharist to those who desire it.  Contact Alisa in the parish office to volunteer.  Training can be provided to those desiring to help deliver the Eucharist.
